According to him hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world

According to him hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world   When we ask the question of why God chose Christ before the creation of the world, most churches say, "Because God is omnipotent, God knows everything. After the creation of heaven and earth, Adam and Eve fell into Satan's temptation and fell into sin. People say, "Because the world will fall and become evil and eventually reach a state where God will have no choice but to destroy the world, God knows everything and predestined before the foundation of the world to save only the chosen ones in Christ." In order to fully understand that God predestined Christ before the creation of the world, the saints must read in John 6:63,  “ It is the spirit that quickeneth; Sainys must understand well the words,  “ the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. ” Jesus came to save dead spirits. The people of the world are based on the body, but Jesus ...

Healing the paralytic

Healing the paralytic   In Mark 2:3-12, we see Jesus healing a paralytic patient. However, Jesus said to the patient,  “ When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. ”  And then, in chapter 2 verses 9-12,  “ Whether it is easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. 』 In Luke 5:21,  “ And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaks blasphemies? The thought is,  “ Who can forgive sins, but God alone? ”  Jesus said to the paralytic,...

Strive to enter through the narrow gate

Strive to enter through the narrow gate   (Luke 13:23-27)  “ Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity." Before Luke 13, numerous miracles of Jesus are introduced. The Jews were moved by the word of God. Nevertheless, the Jews ask,  “ Are there only a few who will be saved? ”  Man is such a great sinner that the Son of God had to die on the cross. This means that if a sinner is not united with the death of the cross, the sin remains. Although believers believe in the death of the cross to atone for sin, the faith that simply looks ...

But now is Christ risen from the dead

But now is Christ risen from the dead   1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. In chapter 15, verses 13-10, Paul said that if the dead are not raised, then Christ is not raised either, and your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. In the case of the believers, if there is no belief in the resurrection, it is nothing. Most church believers have a belief in the resurrection. However, regarding their belief in the resurrection, we see that there are many differences among them. They believe in the resurrection of the past, present, and future. In this sense, if we think about the meaning of the resurrection they believe in according to the tense, First, the resurrection is an event that happened in the past 2,000 years ago, and Jesus was crucified for our sins and rose again after 3 days, but it says, "But now is Christ risen from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep." The...

Those of earth and those of heaven

Those of earth and those of heaven   In Ecclesiastes 12:7,  “ Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return to God who gave it. ”  This means that when a person dies, the spirit goes to God, and the body returns to the dust. In other words, the spirit is released from the prison called dust and returns to God. However, in order for the spirit to return to the kingdom of God, he must wear holy clothes. The holy garment is the same as the soul. In the world, the soul, a living being, is like clothes contaminated with sin. We must change our clothes into the clothes of Christ. In other words, the spirit must be changed into a new soul body (clothes of Christ). So this changing of clothes is called baptism. And the LORD God formed man of the  dust  of the ground, and  breath ed into his nostrils the  breath  of  life ; and man became a living soul.(kjv) In Genesis 6:6,  “ And it repented the LORD that ...

Sword and garment

Sword and garment   Luke 22:35-38  『 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. 』 This is the last conversation Jesus had with his disciples in the upper room. Also, Matthew, Mark, and John did not record this conversation, and only Luke gives us Jesus' final teachings. Jesus told his disciples to take care of their backpacks, purses, and swords, and the disciples responded,  “ Yes, I have two swords here. ”  So Jesus said,  “ Enough is enough. ” Luke's record, consisting ...
